Interested private organizations have the possibility of accessing grants to organize internships through the following financing opportunities:

 Internship

 

Financing opportunity: 1st possibility – HCOP – OS 6.13  Increasing the number of tertiary university and non university graduates who could find a job due to the access to learning activities at a potential job/research/innovation, focusing on economic sectors with competitive potential identified in accordance with NCS and areas of smart specialization according to NRDIS.

Eligible applicants:

  • Employers;
  • Professional associations;
  • Chambers of commerce and industry;
  • Institutions and member organizations of consortium and Regional Pacts and Local Partnerships for Employment and Social Inclusion as well as in the field of training;
  • Accredited, public and private higher education institutions;
  • Doctoral and graduate schools with legal personality, including partnerships between them and the private sector / RDI centers;

Target group:

  • Students (ISCED 5-7);
  • Doctoral students in doctoral academic studies;
  • Postdoctoral researchers;
  • Students (ISCED 4, qualification level 5, enrolled in colleges organized at the level of high education institutions);
  • Employers;

Eligible activities/expenditure:

  • Support for sustainable partnerships with the private sector to facilitate transition from school to a workplace by establishing a functional system of internships at an employer, internship / learning programs at the workplace etc., for students and scholars from colleges part of higher education institutions (ISCED 4-7), encouraging the involvement of employers in the workplace learning programs;
  • Provide learning through practical experience programs, provide counseling and vocational guidance services focused on the acquisition of transversal competences related to the labor market needs, acquiring of entrepreneurial skills through the the concept of “stimulation of enterprises, particularly in economic sectors with competitive potential identified in accordance NCS and in the areas of smart specialization according to NRDIS;
  • Support for strengthening partnerships between universities and actors from research and innovation fields to stimulate the development of new doctoral and postdoctoral programs with direct applications in economics, with focus on economic sectors with competitive potential identified under NCS and the areas of smart specialization according to NRDIS, by providing financial support for PhD students and supporting researchers to engage in postdoctoral research (scholarships and supporting domestic and transnational mobility);
  • Research and networking activities for young researchers in order to create synergies between research and innovation, particularly in terms of complementarity of economic sectors with competitive potential identified under NCS and the areas of smart specialization according to NRDIS, supporting the internationalization of tertiary education system;
  • Creating coordinated information systems, in both directions: from companies / private sector towards high education institutions, as well as from educational institutions towards companies, to meet the needs of the private sector at regional / local level.

 

Financing opportunity: 2nd possibility – HCOP – SO 6.14 Increasing the participation to learning programs at the workplace of students and apprentices from the secondary and tertiary non – university education system, focusing on the economic sectors with competitive potential in areas identified under NCS and smart specialization according to NRDIS.

Eligible applicants:

  • Employers;
  • Professional associations;
  • Chambers of commerce and industry;
  • Institutions and organizations members of the consortium and Regional Pacts and Local Partnerships for Employment and Social Inclusion as well as in the field of training;
  • Public and private vocational guidance and counseling providers;
  • Public and private authorized providers, that provide theoretical training in the apprenticeship program through apprenticeship at the work place;
  • Trade unions and employers’ organizations;

Target group:

  • Students (ISCED 2 – 3, qualification level 3 – 4);
  • Students (ISCED 4, qualification level 5, enrolled in post-secondary / foreman schools organized at the level of education units);
  • Apprentices;

Eligible activities/expenditure:
