{"id":3679,"date":"2013-04-26T16:49:40","date_gmt":"2013-04-26T14:49:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vapro.ro\/?p=3679"},"modified":"2015-08-17T13:17:37","modified_gmt":"2015-08-17T11:17:37","slug":"financial-mechanism-of-the-eea-new-financing-opportunities-for-ngos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vapro.ro\/en\/financial-mechanism-of-the-eea-new-financing-opportunities-for-ngos\/","title":{"rendered":"Financial Mechanism of the EEA &#8211; New financing opportunities for NGOs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;NGO Fund&#8221;, part of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2009-2014 with a total budget of 30 million euros will be available for financing civil society projects in Romania.<br \/>\nThe overall objective of the Programme is to support the development and strengthening civil society contribution to social justice, democracy and sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The five components of the program that can apply for funding are:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Involvement, aimed at encouraging active citizenship and participation in community life, to ensure compliance and enforcement of fundamental democratic values\u200b\u200b<br \/>\nEstimated Release Date: April 30, 2013<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Social Justice, aimed at helping to combat social exclusion and reduce disparities within society and between different groups in society<br \/>\nEstimated Release Date: May 8, 2013<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sustainable development, with the objective of supporting sustainable development and improvement of the environment in Romania, through the contribution of NGOs and public participation<br \/>\nEstimated Release Date: April 29, 2013<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Basic social services, with the objective of increasing access and provision of basic social services for vulnerable groups<br \/>\nEstimated Release Date: April 29, 2013<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Capacity building of NGOs, networks and coalitions, with the objective of contributing to the general development of the NGO sector in Romania and the development of networks, coalitions, and think tanks effectively<br \/>\nEstimated Release Date: May 14, 2013<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was also released in April 22nd, 2013 Fund for bilateral relations: Measurement a).
