      • Projects for ERA departments \u201cERA Chairs\u201d (ERA = European Research Areas). HORIZON 2020 will finance staff and administrative costs;<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Teaming projects between (a) strong research institutes and (b) research institutes with excellence potential from regions with low performance in the RDI field will lead to an improvement in the excellence centers from less developed Romanian regions. HORIZON 2020 will finance the preparation phase of the project (including drafting a business plan) aiming at developing the RD capacity through a teaming process with a performant institution from another member state. Structural funds will intervene in the second teaming phase for financing investments in RD infrastructure;<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Projects that create Support Centers that will support the elaboration of R&D project proposals for Horizon 2020 or other international programs. These Support Centers will have specialists\u2019 teams from those institutions who can demonstrate a constant participation with projects to the EU Framework Programmes (FP5, 6, 7 and Horizon 2020) or other international RDI programs. The Support Centers will help potential participants, including companies who aim to prepare applications within Horizon 2020 programme.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
