    Eligible activities\/expenditures:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Construction of new R&D departments (laboratories \/ R&D centers, etc.) and their endowing with equipment and research tools;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Modernization, expansion, consolidation of existing R&D departments, change the initial destination of a construction in order to create a R&D department and its endowing with equipment and research tools;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Acquisition of research equipment and tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Activities funded under this call for proposals should represent initial investments for R&D departments of companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Projects focus on the following thematic priority areas:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Intelligent specialization:<\/span>\n
          \n
        • Bio \u2013 economy;<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Information and communication technologies;<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Energy, environment and climate change;<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Eco-nano-technology and advanced materials;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Health, as a national priority area.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Eligible expenditure list:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Acquisition of land –\u00a0 for the construction of R&D departments – up to 10% of total eligible costs;<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Expenditure for works of construction \/ modernization \/ expansion \/ consolidation \/ modifying \/change the destination of buildings \u2013 Up to max. 40% of total eligible project costs, or up to max. 50%, if a new R&D construction is found within the company and if the total value of the investment exceeds 20 million lei;<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Procurement of tangible assets – IT and communication equipment and installations, independent equipment for research;<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Procurement of intangible assets – IT applications and licenses – max. 10% of the total eligible expenditure of the initial investment;<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Procurement of buildings and spaces \u2013 eligible within the limit of max. 40% of the total eligible expenditure of the project. If there are also works of modernization \/ expansion \/ consolidation \/ change of destination for the buildings, then these expenditure together with the expenditure for purchasing the building are eligible within the limit of 40% of the total eligible expenditure of the project.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Financing opportunity: 2nd<\/span>\u00a0possibility \u2013 COP \u2013 Action 121, \u00a0Project type:\u00a0 Start-ups and spin-offs innovative companies;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            \u00a0Project value:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Maximum 840.000 lei – cannot exceed the equivalent in lei of 200.000 euro;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Non-reimbursable grant percentage (of eligible costs):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                \n
              • Up to 90% of total eligible project costs;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Eligible activities\/expenditures:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                  \n
                • research and development activities (industrial research and \/ or experimental development);<\/span><\/li>\n
                • acquisition of R&D services (industrial research and\u00a0 \/ or experimental development);<\/span><\/li>\n
                • procurement of consulting services for innovation: technology assistance, technology transfer services, consultancy for acquisition, protection and commercialization of intellectual property rights and for licensing agreements, counseling on the use of standards;<\/span><\/li>\n
                • procurement of innovation support services for: try and testing in specialized laboratories, labeling, testing and certification, market research;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • activities for introducing in production and product \/ process \/ technology \/ service development:<\/span>\n
                      \n
                    • acquisition of intangible assets (IT applications and licenses) necessary for the introduction\u00a0of\u00a0results into production;<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • purchase of machinery and equipment necessary for the introduction of\u00a0results into production, sized according to the real production volume;<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • preparation of documentation necessary for introduction into production \/ commissioning \/ operation \/ implementation;<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • preparation of production\u00a0 \/ commissioning \/ operation (experimentation, testing, experiment, analysis);<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • a review of the technical documentation for the introduction into production \/ commissioning \/ operation \/ implementation;<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • introduction into production \/ operation \/ application for product \/ process \/ technology \/ service (“zero” series execution of the product or of the pilot-installation \/ process \/ technology \/ service development, new and significantly improved for the customer, as a result of applying an innovative model \/ procedure \/ process \/ method); Mandatory activity for project eligibility;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                    • purchase of raw materials and materials needed for the project development (for research and development activities and activities for the introduction into production and product \/ process \/ technology \/ service development);<\/span><\/li>\n
                    • information and publicity activities for the project;<\/span><\/li>\n
