In general, funds can be allocated for the following:
• Organizing training programs for developing competencies necessary on the job.
• Creating a regional vocational training centre for the sector.
• Vocational training programs implemented in order to reduce the lack of competencies, for new technologies, including IT and environmental protection.
• Experience exchanges in order to take in new occupations and technologies
• Programs for developing Occupational Standards relevant to the sector.
• Ensuring continuous vocational training programs and qualifications in order to maintain competition on the market
• Building partnerships in order to collect the information at a national, sectoral and branch level in order to develop occupational standards for the market.
• Building partnerships and exchanging good practices in CVT.
• Creating an information centre regarding the importance of vocational training to the development of competencies and qualifications specific to the sector.
• Developing vocational training strategies for the employees and for managers in order to develop new competencies needed within the sector.
• Developing training programs in order to improve and develop managerial abilities in the human resources area/environment/quality control.
• Developing training programs in order to update and perfect the key competencies within the sector.
• Encouraging initiatives of partnerships development among employers and social partners, in order to increase adaptability.
• Building administrative capacity for social partners (trade unions, employer’s unions etc) in the area of employees and employers adaptability to the changing labor market.
• Studies and analysis regarding training needs at a sectoral level in order to update development programs at a national/sectoral/local level.
• Support offered by the sectoral committees/social partners to the employees within the sector in order -to have access to continuous vocational training programs and to obtain the required competencies.
• Developing innovative methods for organizing the working activity in order to support the adaptability of workers under economical restructuring conditions
• Building internal capacity for the social partners in order to develop programs in the area of work force adaptability.
• Building partnerships in order to organize and implement continuous vocational training programs, to certify and standardize new competencies.
• Innovative ways of organizing work in order to grow its productivity etc.
