Applicant’s guide on SOPHRD KAI 1.1 published for consultation

On May 19th, 2014, a new guide on SOPHRD, “Support for vulnerable groups through access to initial education” was published for public consultation.

The call is addressed to local projects implemented through partnerships in 25 counties: Bacau, Bistrita Nasaud, Botosani, Buzau, Caras Severin, Calarasi, Covasna, Dambovita, Dolj, Galati, Giurgiu, Ialomita, Iasi, Ilfov, Mehedinti, Neamt, Olt, Satu Mare, Salaj, Suceava, Virginia, Tulcea, Vaslui, Valcea, Vrancea.

Projects will support activities aimed at improving the access to quality services provided in school, and also guidance and counseling, grants offered – conditioned by school attendance and other services.

Eligible Applicants: County school boards and other affiliated/ subordinated/ coordinated institutions; Accredited educational institutions (pre-primary – secondary) public and private; NGOs

Eligible partners: Local public authorities coordinating the supported schools; NGOs; Providers of guidance, counseling, mediation and alternative services, public and private

Target group: Pupils; parents/ guardians of the pupils belonging to Roma communities and other disadvantaged groups in the counties mentioned above

Project value: 50.000-500.000 euro
Funding percentage
: up to 98% of eligible project costs
Implementation period: 12-16 months
